Is your intention in life to learn in ways that will help you grow to be the person you were meant to be? Intention is the quality of consciousness you bring to an action. For example, if you intend to go to college, to get a degree, to get the job you want, how do you know you are truly on the right path?
Begin by considering the possibility that you are a powerful, creative, compassionate and loving spirit. Do your actions reflect who you say you are? Your intention must be aligned with what you say, what you do and how you behave. Your intention is the cause. What you do is the effect. Is there a gap between who you think you are, and the way you behave, from a powerful, creative, compassionate and loving spirit? If so, the distance between the two is your spiritual path. When we begin to align our intentions with our spiritual path we begin to realize our authentic self. To begin to understand who you were truly meant to be, take time to discover your real intention before you act.
If your real intention is to create harmony instead of discord, cooperation instead of competition, sharing instead of hoarding, and reverence for life instead of exploitation, act on it, because it is an intention of love and can create only healthy and wholesome consequences. When you do this, you are creating authentic power (Gary Zukav).
