Don’t take yourself so seriously.

Don’t take yourself so seriously. Having a sense of humor and the ability to witness yourself, to observe yourself without judging yourself, are two of the highest forms of human intelligence.

Mindfulness is a learned skill, through practice, of observing yourself without judging yourself. Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way:  on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgementally.  This increases awareness, clarity and acceptance of our present-moment reality.

What happens when we combine mindfulness with humor?  Let’s try. Remember don’t take yourself so seriously.  Watch the video below and sing along, a ho-ho-ha-ha!  A great activity for the classroom.
